On November 1, PetroChina and Guangzhou Government signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement on clean energy supply in Guangzhou city. Under the agreement, PetroChina will give Guangzhou priority to access gas supplies from the second and third West-East Gas Pipelines to meet the demand of the industrial boilers, gas-fired power plants, distributed energy projects, and urban gas network. Guangzhou Government will provide favorable conditions for PetroChina's business development and pipeline projects in the city.
Secretary of the CPC Guangzhou Municipal Committee Wan Qingliang, Mayor of Guangzhou Chen Jianhua, and CNPC Vice President Yu Baocai attended the signing ceremony and exchanged views on strengthening cooperation in clean energy supply and establishing long-term strategic partnership.
